Building EU's Energy Transition conference

The Smart2B project is organising the “Building EU’s energy transition” conference, dedicated to the transformative journey of the energy transition in Europe. The event will bring together leading experts from industry, academia, and governmental institutions to explore critical aspects of transitioning to a sustainable and resilient energy system. The conference will provide a comprehensive overview of the current state and future directions of the energy transition, highlighting the pressing need for sustainable energy solutions and the regulatory frameworks that will drive this change.
Participants will gain exclusive insights into innovative solutions and technological breakthroughs, particularly in areas like smart buildings and energy efficiency: a variety of projects funded by the European Commission will showcase pioneering approaches and technologies that have the potential to drive substantial progress in the energy sector. Experts will also discuss the long-term impacts of these research projects, highlighting how these initiatives will continue to influence the energy landscape, drive further innovations, and shape future policies.
Don't miss the chance to meet our project coordinator, Mohammadreza Aghaei, during the session "Europe's innovation framework." This session will showcase the work executed by 5 research projects funded by the European Commission aimed at bringing innovation to the European energy sector. The strength of each of the 5 projects will be highlighted according to one of the specific technological pillars that define the energy transition at a European level.
